4. Ways of Perceiving Reality

In the quantum world, prior to the moment of Observation, everything exists in a superposition (the simultaneous co-existence) of all possible states of reality. The state of consciousness of the Observer at the moment of observation determines that variant of reality which this Observer perceives at this instant. If the state of his consciousness changes, the manner of perception will change, and the reality perceived by him will change as well.

In other words, as soon as a person directs their attention somewhere, at that very instant, out of the entire chaos of quantum multiplicity, they absorb that order, that picture of reality, which corresponds at that moment to their way (pattern) of perceiving reality.

That is to say, THE WAY OF PERCEIVING REALITY = THE WAY OF CREATING REALITY. This means: whatever our way of perceiving reality is (our patterns), such is the reality (health, relationships, status, money, people, events) that we observe around us. We literally snatch out of the quantum soup precisely such a variant of reality, such a scenario of unfolding events, such a picture of the world.

By default, a pattern of perceiving an objective reality existing independently of us was embedded within us. By changing the way of perception, we change the entire context of our life: the scenario of events changes,

unexpected events begin to happen, people behave differently. There exist many ways of perceiving reality, yet four most widespread ones can be distinguished.

1. Objective reality When we believe that reality exists separately, independently from us, that is objectively, and we are forced to adapt to external events, fight for survival, compete, and so forth. This is the way of perceiving reality habitual to the majority, and we have examined it in sufficient detail above.

2. Religious When everything is governed by an external Supreme Power separate from man ("a grandfather on a cloud"), and man must observe established rules and dogmas in order to enter, after death, a certain mythical place called "paradise". This is such a faith, a pattern of perception. But the pattern of perception in itself does not guarantee that a person will enter paradise; the pattern of perception does not extend at all to what will happen to a person after death, it determines what a person experiences during life.

3. Magical When a person seeks to act precisely upon reality by means of magical items and rituals, as well as friendly otherworldly powers and energies — like

a mage or a shaman), and is forced by various means to obtain energy externally in order to receive what is desired.

4. Creator Consciousness / Accepting the CAUSE WITHIN ONESELF When You do not shift responsibility for what happens to You onto anyone or anything, onto any external forces and/or objective circumstances, but accept responsibility upon Yourself, and seek the Cause of everything occurring within Yourself and only within Yourself (in Your pattern of perception, in particular). A person who realizes Himself as the Creator chooses Faith that his consciousness is Divine in itself, consciousness is God itself, and external reality is its creation and continuation.

The first two ways of perceiving reality — faith in objective reality and the religious one — can essentially be united into the category of Victim / Consumer Consciousness. Regardless of the source of their problems and their blessings, a person sees them outside of oneself, and therefore is unable to significantly influence them. Below is a comparative table of two polar ways of perceiving reality along the line of evolution of Consciousness — from Victim / Consumer Consciousness to Creator (God-man) Consciousness.
