1The One Lord of the Universe is the Support of His humble servants.

2They love the One Lord; their minds are filled with love for the Lord.

3The Name of the Lord is all treasures for them. ||3||

4They are in love with the Supreme Lord God;

5their actions are pure, and their lifestyle is true.

6The Perfect Guru has dispelled the darkness.

7Nanak's God is Incomparable and Infinite. ||4||24||93||

8Gauree Gwaarayree, Fifth Mehla:

9Those whose minds are filled with the Lord, swim across.

10Those who have the blessing of good karma, meet with the Lord.

11Pain, disease and fear do not affect them at all.

12They meditate on the Ambrosial Name of the Lord within their hearts. ||1||

13Meditate on the Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord.

14From the Perfect Guru, this understanding is obtained. ||1||Pause||

15The Merciful Lord is the Doer, the Cause of causes.

16He cherishes and nurtures all beings and creatures.

17He is Inaccessible, Incomprehensible, Eternal and Infinite.

18Meditate on Him, O my mind, through the Teachings of the Perfect Guru. ||2||

19Serving Him, all treasures are obtained.

20Worshipping God, honor is obtained.

21Working for Him is never in vain;

22forever and ever, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||

23Show Mercy to me, O God, O Searcher of hearts.

24The Unseen Lord and Master is the Treasure of Peace.

25All beings and creatures seek Your Sanctuary;

26Nanak is blessed to receive the greatness of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||25||94||

27Gauree Gwaarayree, Fifth Mehla:

28Our way of life is in His Hands;

29remember Him, the Master of the masterless.

30When God comes to mind, all pains depart.

31All fears are dispelled through the Name of the Lord. ||1||

32Why do you fear any other than the Lord?

33Forgetting the Lord, why do you pretend to be at peace? ||1||Pause||

34He established the many worlds and skies.

35The soul is illumined with His Light;

36no one can revoke His Blessing.

37Meditate, meditate in remembrance on God, and become fearless. ||2||

38Twenty-four hours a day, meditate in remembrance on God's Name.

39In it are the many sacred shrines of pilgrimage and cleansing baths.

40Seek the Sanctuary of the Supreme Lord God.

41Millions of mistakes shall be erased in an instant. ||3||

42The Perfect King is self-sufficient.

43God's servant has true faith in Him.

44Giving him His Hand, the Perfect Guru protects him.

45O Nanak, the Supreme Lord God is All-powerful. ||4||26||95||

46Gauree Gwaarayree, Fifth Mehla:

47By Guru's Grace, my mind is attached to the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

48Asleep for so many incarnations, it is now awakened.

49I chant the Ambrosial Bani, the Glorious Praises of God.

50The Pure Teachings of the Perfect Guru have been revealed to me. ||1||

51Meditating in remembrance on God, I have found total peace.

52Within my home, and outside as well, there is peace and poise all around. ||1||Pause||

53I have recognized the One who created me.

54Showing His Mercy, God has blended me with Himself.

55Taking me by the arm, He has made me His Own.

56I continually chant and meditate on the Sermon of the Lord, Har, Har. ||2||

57Mantras, tantras, all-curing medicines and acts of atonement,
