1He said to them, "Enter and hear the details of the vowel points of the Torah of Moses." He sat and expounded to them, "Chirik hates [son'e] the wicked and chastises them, and on its side are jealousy, hatred, and contention. As it is written, "And gnash [chorek] their teeth [shinav] at them" (Psalms 37:12). Don't read chorek, rather rochek [distance]. Distance these traits from yourself and distance the evil from yourself. All the more so, goodness will cleave to you."
