1[Rabbi Amorai continued,] "This is like two men: one is invited to do evil and did good, and one is invited to do good and did good. Who do they praise more? The one who is accustomed to do evil and did good; perhaps he will do it a second time, as is written, 'YHVH loves the gates of Zion more than the dwellings of Jacob' (Psalms 87:2), all of which are peace, as is written, 'And Jacob was a simple man, sitting in tents' (Genesis 25:27)."
