1For the leader. Of the Korahites. A psalm.

2All you peoples, clap your hands,raise a joyous shout for God.

3For GOD Most High is awesome,great ruler over all the earth,

4who subjects peoples to us,sets nations at our feet.

5[God] chose our heritage for us,the pride of Jacob the beloved. Selah.

6God ascends midst acclamation; the ETERNAL, to the blasts of the horn.

7Sing, O sing to God;sing, O sing to our sovereign;

8for God is ruler over all the earth;sing a hymn., a musical term of uncertain meaning.

9God reigns over the nations;God is seated on the holy throne.

10The great of the peoples are gathered together,the retinue of Abraham’s God;for the guardians of the earth belong to God,who is greatly exalted.
