Psalms 3 · Deliver Me, O LORD!

1A psalm of David when he fled from his son Absalom.

2O ETERNAL One, my foes are so many!Many are those who attack me;

3many say of me,“There is no deliverance for him through God.” Selah.

4But You, O ETERNAL One, are a shield about me,my glory, who holds my head high.

5I cry aloud to GOD,who answers me from the holy mountain. Selah.

6I lie down and sleep and wake again,for GOD sustains me.

7I have no fear of the myriad forcesarrayed against me on every side.

8Rise, O ETERNAL One!Deliver me, O my God!For You slap all my enemies in the face; You break the teeth of the wicked.

9Deliverance is GOD’s;Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah.

«Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD» — Psalm 150:6

Breath is one for all: everyone lives by it, whoever they are and whatever they believe. Every day at 11:11 local time people stop for sixty seconds, breathe, and thank GOD for the breath — each in their own words, each within themselves. In that minute we are One Breath.
