Psalms 110

1Of David. A psalm. GOD said to my lord, “Sit at My right handwhile I make your enemies your footstool.”

2GOD will stretch forth from Zion your mighty scepter;hold sway over your enemies!

3Your people come forward willingly on your day of battle.In majestic holiness, from the womb,from the dawn, yours was the dew of youth.

4GOD has sworn and will not relent,“You are a priest forever, a rightful king by My decree.”

5My Sovereign is at your right hand—crushing kings in the day of divine anger.

6[God] works judgment upon the nations,heaping up bodies,crushing heads far and wide.

7My lord drinks from the stream on his way;therefore he holds his head high.
