Psalms 11
For the leader. Of David. In GOD I take refuge;how can you say to me,“Take to the hills like a bird!
For see, the wicked bend the bow, they set their arrow on the stringto shoot from the shadows at the upright.
When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
GOD is in the divine holy palace; GOD—whose throne is in heaven, whose eyes behold, whose gaze searches humankind.
GOD seeks out someone righteous, but loathes the wicked one who loves injustice.
[God] will rain down upon the wicked blazing coals and sulfur;a scorching wind shall be their lot.
For GOD is righteous, and loves righteous deeds;the upright shall behold God’s face.
