1Bwana alipowarejeza mateka Sayuni, tulikuwa kama watu walioota ndoto.
2Vinywa vyetu vilijaa kicheko, ndimi zetu zilijaa nyimbo za shangwe. Ndipo iliposemwa miongoni mwa mataifa, “Bwana amewatendea mambo makuu.”
3Bwana ametutendea mambo makuu, nasi tumejaa furaha.
4Ee Bwana, turejeshee watu wetu waliotekwa, kama vijito katika Negebu.
5Wapandao kwa machozi watavuna kwa nyimbo za shangwe.
6Yeye azichukuaye mbegu zake kwenda kupanda, huku akilia, atarudi kwa nyimbo za shangwe, akichukua miganda ya mavuno yake.
